I’ve always loved writing but I discovered my voice as I took classes for my Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies minor in undergrad. As a Biology major, studying the social sciences motivated me to find ways to bridge the gap between science and society. Today, I write explanatory pieces to help make science more accessible as well as biographical pieces to humanize scientists. I also edit pieces and sometimes dip my toes into spoken scicomm.
